On 5/09/09 our troop had troop family pizza party at Chuckie Cheeses and our hostess Heather Chandler was great. Heather is also in Girl Scouts. Heather was Great with the daisy troop, she made the girls feel that they had a Big Sister in Girl Scouts. Heather thank you so much. The daisy troop had a GREAT TIME not only with chuckie, but ALSO WITH YOU. Troop leader daisy 2132 Bowie County.

Posted : 12/5/2007 Comments : Hello... I was thinking about my childhood today and thought I would look up Camp High Point and when I did I found this site... I attend Camp High Point many times as a child with my troop my mother was our troop leader (Pam Garringer). I was so excited as I looked through the album, it seems as though the same things are still happening at Camp High Point. I now have 2 daughters and I hope one day they will be able to experience what I experienced as a child growing up at Camp High Point... Many Many Many awesome memories were made there... I would love to go back and visit the camp, are there any special camps for this sort of thing???

I was a memeber of Conifer Council - Dogwood and Evergreen for many years as a kid (1968 - 1979) and loved every minute of my experiences. Girl Scouts taught me so much that it would take days to tell it all!!! I truly appreciate all the hard work that the volunteer troup leaders, camp staff, and center administration gave to us girls. I encourage the young ladies of Conifer Council to fully participate in Scouting. It can help you reach your dreams and help you explore those you never could have dreamed on your own.
